Plant Engineering for Air and Thermal Processes

PURIMA plans and supplies technology for two core industrial tasks: capturing hazardous emissions at the workplace and controlling the temperature of substances for further processing. Both areas are developed in cooperation with DENIOS and are tailored to the respective operation – from the size of the workplace to the system control.

Typical Applications

Thermal Technology.

Resins, oils, waxes, and many chemicals can only be processed above a certain temperature. PURIMA builds heating chambers that heat, melt, or maintain these substances within a fixed temperature window – as a single workstation or as a continuous flow system with multiple chambers and different temperature levels.

Loading and unloading are manual or fully automated, depending on the operator’s requirements. In many systems, the heating chamber also performs a second task as an airlock – for example, between two cleanroom classes or as a transition from storage to production. All process steps are digitally recorded: station occupancy, target temperature, and process status in real time.

Cooperation project with DENIOS

For a pharmaceutical manufacturer, PURIMA and DENIOS built a
multi-chamber system for melting substances. The target temperature is
reached quickly, the system meets standard industry safety standards
and is integrated directly into the existing production line.

Each system is created based on the specific task: which substances, what quantities, what space, what degree of automation. DENIOS handles design, construction, and, upon request, ongoing service – from the initial sketch to maintenance during operation.

Air Technology.

Vapors, gases, and dusts often arise unnoticed – during filling, mixing, painting, or sampling. Over time, they place a strain on employees and can contaminate entire work areas. PURIMA builds workbenches, air tables, and open workstations that extract these substances directly at the source.

The air table, for example, uses ejector technology: an air curtain specifically directs pollutants toward the extraction system, while the front remains open, allowing operators to work standing or sitting. A monitoring system keeps an eye on air pressure and filter saturation. For larger components or space-intensive processes, open workstations are used; for everything else, there are custom designs.

Overview of solutions

From small workbenches to large open workstations: for every space and product requirement, our partners at DENIOS have the right solution for you – available in either stainless steel or painted mild steel. Upon request, our solutions are also available as ATEX-compliant.

Work table

Our workbenches are as diverse as your requirements – we design a safe working environment entirely according to your wishes and needs.

Lufttisch Lufttechnik

Air Table

Thanks to ejector technology, airborne pollutants are specifically directed toward the extraction points. An integrated monitoring system monitors key parameters such as air pressure or filter saturation. Operators have maximum freedom of movement with an open front and can work standing or sitting.

Multi-task workstations

For space-intensive work processes, our open workstations offer an optimal solution, taking into account occupational safety and the required space.
