Industrial degreasing of all kinds of components may be necessary, for example, in order to be able to pass through the next production steps without errors. The degreased components are then coated, painted, formed, pressed, welded, soldered or measured. To do this, all grease must be completely removed from the component in advance. Do you have a geometrically challenging part that needs to be degreased? In this case, for example, water-based cleaning in an immersion bath can be combined with ultrasonic cleaning – in any case, we will develop the right degreasing system for your cleaning task.

High pressure cleaning

Did you know that stubborn component contamination or workpiece coatings can be removed using the high-pressure water process – without the addition of any chemical additives? PURIMA cleaning systems with high water pressure are not only powerful, but also environmentally friendly. With pressures of up to 4000 bar, the cleaning material is treated powerfully and in a focused manner or over a wide area on the desired contours or surfaces, completely without chemical additives. Our large-area cleaning with patented special tools and integrated suction technology opens up a wide range of application possibilities. Depending on the requirements, our high-pressure technology is used both for cleaning individual parts and in our continuous flow systems. From decontamination to deburring and decoating, many applications are possible: paints, resins, release agents, ceramic coatings and radioactivity are professionally removed using high-pressure technology

Case Study Lufthansa Plant

Reliable cleaning meets intelligent logistics.

For a major customer in the aviation industry, PURIMA, a long-standing expert in special machine construction in the field of industrial parts cleaning, developed a system for cleaning components from aircraft engines. After use in air traffic, the workpieces are contaminated to varying degrees by grease, engine and hydraulic oils, fuels or combustion residues and require complete cleaning in the course of maintenance work after they have been dismantled.

A fully automated and integrated into the customer’s infrastructure integrated cleaning system for components of battery trays, which are used as fixed components in e-vehicles PURIMA, the Porta Westfalica-based expert for industrial component cleaning, has successfully implemented a cleaning system for a major customer in the automotive industry. Along a production line, these are first machined and deburred and then require thorough cleaning. And then require thorough cleaning which completely removes both remaining traces of oil and chips.

Ultrasonic cleaning of precision tubes.

For an internationally active supplier to the automotive industry, air conditioning components have to be cleaned for smooth installation. These are thin-walled, straight and three-dimensionally very complex bent aluminum tubes. After soldering, they must be cleaned inside and out free of particles, rinsed and dried. Purification takes place in PURIMA’s own specially developed plants, which are designed for high throughputs with demanding cleanliness requirements.
